PREVENTION and ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Prevention and Engagement Manager (Full-Time):

OCRCC seeks a dynamic, creative and community-minded person to join our team in the role of Prevention and Engagement Manager! This role combines classroom education with community organizing to forge a path towards a world free of sexual violence and all other forms of oppression. In this leadership role, you’d join a small but mighty team of passionate advocates in a values-driven organization committed to serving the Orange County community and advancing the movement to end sexual violence. Experience with coalition building, organizing, familiarity with the Orange County community and a strong anti-oppression practice makes you a great candidate for this role. Your commitment to ethical practice, direct and accountable communication, and contributing to an anti-racist and trans-affirming work culture makes you a good fit for the team. Relevant experience is prioritized over degrees.  OCRCC’s staff work a hybrid and flexible schedule with a generous leave package to support care for vicarious trauma.  The RPE manager will work some nights and weekends (average 3-4 times/month) at your discretion to ensure community visibility, and can flex those hours within the week to avoid overworking.

CRISIS ADVOCATE (UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES)

CRISIS RESPONSE MANAGER

Crisis Response Manager (Full-Time):

The Crisis Response Manager (CRM) is a high impact role at the agency and oversees 24hour coverage of OCRCC’s Helplines (phone, text, and chat) as well as UNC Hospital Accompaniment dispatch. We’re looking for someone well-versed in making ethical care decisions in a fast-paced environment, working with vulnerable people in active crisis. The CRM will train and supervise volunteer and staff advocates to provide traumainformed crisis support and manage the many logistical layers of ensuring consistent access. The CRM role requires significant night and weekend flexibility, and a commitment to the mission and vision of the agency.

CRISIS RESPONSE ASSISTANT

Crisis Response Assistant: OCRCC seeks a new team member who is passionate about providing crisis support to survivors of sexual violence via phone on our 24-hour Helpline and in-person for medical and legal accompaniment. This part-time, shift-based position provides crisis care through active listening and by empowering survivors to take the next step that is right for them. Crisis Response Assistants play a vital role at OCRCC because they are often the first point of contact for a survivor connecting to us.   • Daytime Phone (9am-12:30pm): $16.50/hour   
  • Daytime Phone (12:30pm-4pm): $16.50/hour 
  • Daytime Hospital Accompaniment (9am-4pm): $10 per shift 
  • Overnight Phone – weeknight (4pm-9am) or weekend (4pm-4pm): $55 per shift ($16.50/hour if working over 3 hours) 
  • Overnight Hospital Accompaniment – weeknight (4pm-9am) or weekend (4pm-4pm): $25 per shift ($16.50/hour if responding to a hospital accompaniment need) 
  • Holidays: $55 per shift

THERAPY ACCESS COORDINATOR FOR UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES - PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Therapy Access for Underserved Communities – Program Coordinator (Full-Time):

OCRCC is building a therapy access program that centers the needs and interests of Black, Latino/a/x, and LGBTQIA+ communities. In partnership with the Pro Bono Counseling Network, OCRCC seeks a visionary, collaborative coordinator that understands the unique barriers that marginalized communities face when it comes to quality mental health services, and is committed to making them accessible. The Therapy Access for Underserved Communities (TAUC) Coordinator will work with their team at OCRCC to build an effective program focused on cultural competency and trauma informed care, and provide direct support to survivors and other folks seeking therapy support. This position is 50% outreach and engagement, 50% direct client care. Applicants with direct connections and demonstrated experience building trust and rapport in Black, Latina/o/x and/or LGBTQIA+ communities will be prioritized.

Hiring Range: $44,000-$46,000

TRANS ACCESS CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT

Consultant (10-15 hrs/wk): OCRCC has secured funding to pursue a 1-year capacity building project aimed at increasing the ability of the agency to provide competent, relevant, and inclusive services for trans survivors of sexual violence. The consultant will identify best practices for trans-competent survivor care, assess the agency’s compliance, convene an advisory panel, and develop and implement a plan to build OCRCC’s capacity for trans-inclusive care.
