Join us for a day of shopping at Ten Thousand Villages on Sunday, October 25. 15% of sales made from 12pm to 5pm that day will benefit the Center. As one of the world’s largest fair trade organizations, Ten Thousand Villages strives to improve the livelihood of disadvantaged artisans in 38 countries. You will find unique handmade gifts, jewelry, home decor, art and sculpture, textiles, serveware, and personal accessories representing the diverse cultures of artisans in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Make sure to stop by our table to grab some complimentary snacks on us!

Survivors of physical and sexual violence often seek support and comfort from their faith communities. Whether you provide ministry to your entire congregation or focus on women and families, your role in supporting survivors is critical. Join us and the Compass Center for Women & Families for breakfast and conversation about how we can best to attend to the unique needs of survivors of interpersonal violence. Catering will be provided by Kelsey’s Cafe. This event, for leaders from all faiths, is free to attend but advance registration is required. Join us for our largest event of the year! Our annual party begins with a reception and silent auction, followed by a banquet dinner featuring our special guest speaker. We will end the evening with our signature dessert auction and a live auction of exciting items such as JetBlue airfare and Disney World park passes. The Cardinal Track Club hosts Le Tour de Carrboro, a series of three races. All race proceeds benefit six Community Partners, including the Center. As a partner, the Center agrees to provide at least 8 volunteers for each race. Join us in volunteering as course cheerleaders for the Gallop & Gorge! Bring the family out to do your good deed for a couple hours before going home to get started on your turkey dinner.
